Nov. 23—The San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters has 9,765 ballots left to process before certifying the election results with the California Secretary of State by Dec. 2.
Of those unprocessed, some 8,632 are conditional voter registration ballots, and 1,113 are provisional.
Another 5,793 are ballots with noncomparable signatures, or those that were submitted without them.
Once all ballots are processed, there should be 263,594 counted. And with 378,657 registered voters, turnout is expected to have been 69%.

The Sacramento County Registrar of Voters has 26,050 ballots left to process, and once they are counted, voter turnout is expected to have been 75%.
Area city council elections
For Lodi City Council, Ramon Yepez remains in the lead for his re-election bid to the District 4 seat, while Matthew Pratton is trying to stave off Bonnie Rodriguez for the second open seat on the Galt City Council.
Yepez has collected 741 votes, for 44.16% of ballots cast thus far, while Lyndsy Davis has tallied 555 votes for 33%. Alex Aliferis garnered 382 votes and 22.77%.
Tim Reed continues to hold a commanding lead for Galt City Council, receiving 5,694 votes for 43% of ballots cast.

Pratton and Rodriguez both have garnered 28% of the vote for the second seat, with the former collecting 3,775 ballots and the latter with 3,762.
In the Isleton City Council race, Dean Dockery has taken the lead over Aleida Suarez, although both will be headed for the dais.
Dockery has 129 votes and Suarez has collected 113. E. Kelly Hutson has 18, while Paul Steele and Jose Morquecho have tallied 50 and 33, respectively.
Diana Villones O’Brien has collected 132 votes in the race for Isleton City Council over Michelle Burke, who has 86.
Local school boards
Victoria Lenderman remains ahead of Maia Aguirre in the Lodi Unified School District Board of Education Area 2 seat race, with the former collecting 3,962 votes for 43.64% of ballots cast. Aguirre has 2,582 votes for 28.44%.

Incumbent Gary Knackstedt, who conceded the seat during Tuesday’s meeting, garnered 2,250 votes for 37.69%.
Tammi Van Houton and Ann Ullrich have continued to keep Daniel Rice at bay for the two open seats on the Oak View School District Board of Education, though that race is still close.
Van Houton has received 632 votes so far, for 35.55% of ballots cast, while Ullrich has received 618 votes and 33.79%. Rice tallied 579 votes and 31.66%.
Karol Messersmith took the lead in the race for the Galt Joint Union High School District Board of Education last week and has held on to it thus far, collecting 1,719 votes to incumbent Pat Maple’s 1,656 as of the most recent update.

The Galt district’s Measure H, which would secure $27 million to repair and upgrade facilities and improve campus security, has garnered 7,072 votes in favor and 5,549 against.
Other races
At the state level, Jerry McNerney has widened his lead against Clements resident Jim Shoemaker for the State Senate District 5 seat.
McNerney has collected 51.9% and 124,332 votes, to Shoemaker’s 48.1% and 115,317 tallies.
Assemblyman Heath Flora, R-Ripon, still has a commanding lead over Lodi resident Tami Nobriga, receiving 70.2% of the vote and 125,418 tallies. Nobriga has 29.8% and 53,281 votes.
And at the federal level, U.S. Rep. Josh Harder, D-Tracy, is holding on to his lead over Stockton Mayor Kevin Lincoln in the 9th District seat race, garnering 51.9% of the vote with 124,332 tallies. Lincoln has 48.1% and 115,317 votes.
Rep. Doris Matsui, D-Sacramento, garnered 66.8% of the vote with 191,295 ballots in the race for the 7th District seat, while Galt resident Tom Silva has received 46.9% and 162,659 ballots.
