Nine people are in custody following a prostitution sting Friday in central Lubbock.
According to Lubbock police, the department conducted the nine-hour operation on Friday starting at 9 a.m. in the 2500 block of 27th Street in the Tech Terrace neighborhood.The operation involved officers from LPD’s East Division Station, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and Lubbock Fire Rescue, who received aerial coverage from the department’s Drone Unit.
Nine people were arrested on various charges ranging from soliciting prostitution to narcotics.
