Nov. 26—TURTLE RIVER — A 19-year-old man has died and a woman has been injured following a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning near Turtle River.
According to a release from Beltrami County Sheriff Jason Riggs, dispatch received a report of the crash at approximately 10:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the intersection of Bemidji Road Northeast and Island View Drive Northeast.
Upon arrival, deputies determined that two single-occupant vehicles were involved in a crash at the intersection, approximately 11 miles north of Bemidji.

An adult female was transported to the Sanford Emergency Department in Bemidji. An adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene and was extricated from his vehicle, the release said.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office. The condition of the female is unknown at this time. The names of those involved are being withheld pending family notification.
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Bemidji Ambulance Service, Bemidji Fire Department, North Country First Responders, Minnesota Department of Resources Conservation Officers and the Minnesota State Patrol.
