Armed carjacking leads to vehicle chase in New Berlin; suspects at large, police say

Two suspects in an armed carjacking fled from the stolen vehicle after it was stopped by New Berlin police officers around 4 p.m. Friday and remain at large.

A New Berlin Police Department news release said the vehicle fled from officers near South Sunny Slope Road and West Fieldpointe Drive.

A squad car then made contact with the vehicle, successfully forcing it to a stop at Cardinal Crest and Wilson Drive in the city of Brookfield.

At least two suspects who are not yet in custody then fled from the vehicle, the release said.

No officers were injured.

The case is under active investigation, according to police.
