Rapid and accumulating snow was not quite as abundant in communities below the I-70 corridor. For instance, some communities in Jefferson County did not quite reach an inch of snow on Saturday.
Arctic air is settling back into the St. Louis region after the snowfall, so drivers are encouraged to be extra cautious of slick spots on roadways, especially on bridges and overpasses, through at least Sunday morning.
