KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Overland Park Police Department is investigating an aggravated robbery and auto burglary involving a juvenile victim Monday morning.
According to OPPD, at about 8:05 a.m., a suspect got into a victim’s car and stole an item near 132nd Terrace and Outlook Street — a few blocks from a middle school.
After the robbery, the suspect got back into a car and attempted to leave the neighborhood; however, before leaving, a passenger in the suspect’s car got out and pointed a firearm at a juvenile and stole their backpack.

OPPD said the juvenile was not injured in the incident.
The suspect is described as being a white man driving a white SUV. He was wearing a black mask and a gray sweatshirt at the time of the crime.
According to OPPD, the SUV was last seen driving eastbound toward Nall Avenue.
