PENNSYLVANIA – “This holiday season, we were given a heartbreaking gift.”
It’s a Christmas miracle that a litter of puppies is now safe and sound in the loving hands of the Pennsylvania SPCA.
Nine four-week-old puppies were found abandoned at a local park last week before they were brought to the shelter in a box.
Officials say they were left out in the cold to fend for themselves, and in desperate need of help.

“The world had seemingly turned its back on them, but we couldnât,” PSPCA said.
All nine puppies have since been bathed, medically examined, and placed into foster homes bearing the names of the Philadelphia Flyers; Coots, Mich, Ers, Seels, TK, Laughts, Sanny, Hath, and Catesy.
They won’t be available for adoption for several weeks, but they are already “thriving” in their new life.
