Longmont police notes: DUI arrest, multiple cases of trespassing

LONGMONT

Friday

• 11:42 p.m. Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Gay Street. A man was taken into custody for DUI second offense and other charges. A man, the passenger in the vehicle, was taken into custody for obstructing police, resisting arrest and second degree criminal tampering.

Saturday

• 4:33 a.m. Police responded to a welfare check on a driver near the intersection of South Martin Street and Ken Pratt Boulevard. A man was arrested for an active warrant.

• 9:38 a.m. Officers responded to a request of a civil standby on the 1000 block of 16th Avenue, where a violation of a protection order had taken place and an arrest was made.

• 10:19 a.m. Officers took a report over the phone for a vehicle trespass in the 2400 block of 17th Avenue.

• 10:43 a.m. Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Main Street for trespassing. A man had pulled out a pocketknife when confronted by a store employee. The man was located, arrested and booked into the Boulder County Jail.
