Death In Paradise is returning for its Christmas special soon, so who are this year’s guest stars to bring the latest head-scratching case to life?
DI Neville Parker (played by Ralf Little) made his departure earlier this year, making room for DI Mervin Wilson (Don Gilet) who is set to appear in Saint Marie in the Christmas episode which will be released at 8.30pm on Sunday, December 22, on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
As Mervin struggles to adjust to island life, he simultaneously gets to grips with a new case where three men dressed as Santa Claus are all seemingly shot with the same gun at the exact same time, but how is this possible?
With fans gearing up to watch the special episode, here are all the guest stars to feature in the Christmas instalment.

Jim Howick
Saint Marie will be welcoming actor and comedian Jim Howick who is famous for his ongoing work with the creative team behind the Horrible Histories franchise.

He has also starred in Peep Show, Stag, Here We Go, Sex Education, as well as his portrayal of Pat Butcher in BBC’s Ghosts.

Angela Griffin
Actress and Loose Women panellist Angela Griffin shot to fame when she starred as Fiona Middleton in Coronation Street back in the early 1990s.
Fans have since seen her go on to work on projects like White Lines, Ordinary Lies, The Wives, Mount Pleasant and Waterloo Road.
Steven Hartley
Actor Steven Hartley is best known for his portrayals as Supt Tom Chandler in The Bill as well as Dr Jack Ford in Doctors.
Some of his more recent parts have been in Happy Valley, The Wheel Of Time: Origins, All Creatures Great And Small and Call The Midwife.
Michael Salami
Delving into the world of Death In Paradise is actor Michael Salami who was behind Gabriel in Netflix’s superhero drama Supacell.

He was also Shane Sweeney in Hollyoaks and featured in the action-comedy Sumotherhood last year.
These guest stars will be joined by Doctors star Dex Lee, Hotel Portofino’s Elizabeth Carling and The Unbelievable Truth’s Marcus Brigstocke.
Ex-EastEnders star Don Gilet will be making his debut as DI Mervin Wilson in the Christmas special following Neville Parker’s exit.
And as expected, Don Warrington will return as The Commissioner, Shantol Jackson as Naomi Thomas, Ginny Holder as Darlene Curtis, Danny John-Jules as Dwayne Myers and Elizabeth Bourgine as Catherine Bordey.
