Three masked men stole about $15,000 worth of disposable vape devices during an armed robbery of a Northeast El Paso vape shop last week. The unsolved caper is Crime Stoppers of El Paso’s Crime of the Week.
Two of the three “violent robbers” were holding knives while the third had a handgun in his waistband during the robbery at 1:28 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at the Kenworthy Tobacco and Vape store, Crime Stoppers said.
The store is in the Kenworthy Crossing retail strip anchored by an Albertsons supermarket at 10765 Kenworthy St. next to the Patriot Freeway, close to North Hills.

The robbers were wearing black hoodies, face masks and gloves, Crime Stoppers said. Two of the robbers approached the shop employee and demanded his belongings while the third man began putting merchandise into a blue laundry bag. The robbers took the clerk’s cellphone and broke it.
The thieves stole an estimated $15,000 worth of disposable vape devices along with the money from the cash register, police said.
The men, who were to believed to be Hispanic and in their early 20s, may have left in a dark-colored Dodge Charger.

Anyone with information on the Kenworthy vape shop robbery may anonymously call Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-8477 (TIPS) or leave a tip online at cselpaso.org. Callers could be eligible for a cash reward if information leads to an arrest.
