‘Anxious’ passenger climbs out of emergency exit after an Alaska Airlines gets to the gate

On Sunday, an Alaska Airlines flight from Milwaukee to Seattle was too much for one passenger who decided to open the emergency exit and climbed out to the wing of the airplane after arriving at the gate.

Flight 323 from Milwaukee completed its taxi to Gate N9 and as passengers began to deboard the plane, a passenger decided to find her own way out.

“A passenger upon arrival at a gate from inbound Milwaukee flight opened an emergency exit row door and walked out on the wing,” one witness told KIRO 7.

Port of Seattle fire and a crisis intervention team arrived to evaluate her.

“The Port is NOT seeking charges against her. But she may have broken an FAA rules. So they and the FAA and FBI have been alerted.” the SEA spokesperson said.
