Central Florida roads are down to less than a quarter mile visibility on Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Melbourne.
“If out driving, be sure to slow down, use low beam headlights, and leave plenty of following distance between vehicles,” the NWS stated in their forecast. “Conditions are forecast to improve near to shortly after sunrise, with the Dense Fog Advisory ending at 8 a.m.”
Central Florida will remain mostly dry with temperatures slightly above normal. There is some moisture in the area, with the NWS forecasting a 20% chance for precipitation mostly in the eastern counties.

Temperatures continue to creep up this week and long stretches of dry weather until a cold front arrives on Sunday.
Temperatures are still going to hit the mid-70s with lows in the upper 50s.
Even with the cold front Sunday, though, no significant cold temperatures are forecast New Year’s Day.
