Paskenta Nomlaki Foundation joins holiday season donations

The Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians, through the Paskenta Nomlaki Foundation, joined several other organizations in supporting the community during the holiday season.

Overall the Foundation donated $20,000 in total to four local organizations – $5,000 each to the Corning Fire Department, Northern California Child Development, Red Bluff Chamber of Commerce and Red Bluff Toys for Tots.

“We are proud to partner with these incredible organizations that work tirelessly to positively impact our community,” said Tribal Chairman Brandin Paya. “The holiday season is a time for giving back and supporting those who need it most. We hope these donations will help bring comfort and joy to the underserved children and the elderly in our community during this special time of year.”

The Foundation also supported the 5th Annual Christmas Joy Arrangements by providing a $10,000 donation. In partnership with the Red Bluff/Tehama County Chamber of Commerce and the Tehama Floral Co., Paya, on behalf of the Foundation, delivered special floral arrangements to elderly residents at health and senior care facilities in Corning on Monday, Dec. 16.
