14-Year-Old Boy Stabbed to Death on London Bus
A 14-year-old boy died after being stabbed on a public bus in Woolwich, southeast London, on Tuesday, January 7, police said.The Metropolitan Police said they responded to reports of a stabbing on a Route 472 bus on Woolwich Church Street at 2:28 pm.“Officers attended, along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. Paramedics treated a 14-year-old boy at the scene who had received stab wound injuries, but he very sadly died shortly after medics arrived,” they said. No arrests had been made “at this early stage,” they added.Footage from a local resident shows multiple police and ambulance vehicles surrounding the bus, and medical staff with gurneys.
