More snowfall arrived in Kentucky on Friday, dumping multiple inches of snow in cities around the commonwealth.

Totals varied statewide, with many places getting 3-5 inches.

Here is what we know about snowfall amounts in Kentucky:

Official snow accumulation for Kentucky cities

  • Louisville: 3 inches

  • Lexington: 2.9 inches

  • Glasgow: 3 inches

  • Union: 2.8 inches

  • Vine Grove: 4.5 inches

  • Maysville: 2 inches

  • Hazard: 4 inches

Will Kentucky get more snow this weekend?

The National Weather Service expects snow to pass through the region and end by Saturday morning.

Clouds may linger and temperatures will hover in the low 30s. Starting Sunday, the sun is expected to shine and high temperatures could reach the mid-to-high 30s.
