Jan. 11—The new year is bringing changes to the City of Ada Municipal Court.
The court used to meet on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Beginning January 20 the court will only be in session on Tuesday’s and Thrusday’s each week.
Municipal Court will be held at 9 a.m. on those two days at the City Council Chambers at 231 S. Townsend.
“If you receive a citation from the Ada Police Department, your court date will be listed on your citation,” City Manager Tracy Roles said.
A retirement party will be held for longtime city employee Betty Blansett Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Large McKeel Room at the Ada Public Library. Blansett has severed the city for 42 years.
