Local lawmakers to discuss current session, answer questions on Zoom

It’s full speed ahead for Indiana lawmakers who are cramming lots of bills into this year’s budget session. This year’s session is scheduled to end April 29.

The League of Women Voters of Bloomington-Monroe County is hosting a discussion about developments in the current session of the Indiana General Assembly with legislators on Saturday, Jan. 25, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. via Zoom.

All Indiana state representatives and senators who represent any portion of Brown, Johnson, and Monroe counties have been invited to update constituents on what’s happening at the statehouse and respond to questions.

Sens. Rod Bray, Cyndi Carrasco, Aaron Freeman, Eric Koch, Greg Walker, and Shelli Yoder and Reps. Michelle Davis, Robb Greene, Craig Haggard, Dave Hall, Bob Heaton, Peggy Mayfield, and Matt Pierce have been invited.
