Jan. 17—A Lacey’s Spring man is accused of stealing a vehicle, driving it to Valhermoso Springs, and stealing a second vehicle, according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
Adam Eugene Massey, 42, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree theft and one count of third-degree burglary on Wednesday, according to jail and court records. He remained in the Morgan County Jail on Friday in lieu of a $12,500 bond.
The Sheriff’s Office said Massey stole a vehicle Wednesday from a residence on Northeast Fields Road, in Lacey’s Spring, before driving the vehicle to Valhermoso Springs and wrecking it on Slaughter Road.
