EastEnders fans are convinced they’ve worked out exactly how Reiss Colwell will leave Albert Square following reports that Jonny Freeman has filmed his final scenes.
The actor has played the creepy killer since 2022 and it is believed he will depart the BBC One soap later this year.
According to Daily Mail, cast members attended his leaving party at The Wellington Pub in Borehamwood over the weekend after the actor finished filming.
Natalie Cassidy (Sonia Fowler), Aaliyah James (Avant Nandra-Hart) and Charlie Suff (Johnny Carter) were among the cast members photographed and reported to be in attendance.

Back in November, Sonia’s sister Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) discovered that Debbie was murdered by Reiss, who has since been keeping Bianca prisoner in a soundproofed lock-up.
Following reports of Jonny’s leaving party and pictures of a crash crashed into the Queen Vic pub circulating online, fans are convinced that Reiss will be killed off during the soap’s 40th anniversary week next month.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “Reiss Colwell takes his own life in shock suicide plot during 40th Anniversary week has his lies about Debbie’s death and holding bianca captive in his lock up storage warehouse FINALLY get exposed.”

Another added: “Guessing he’s one of the victims of the Queen Vic fire next month.. as his car was crashed into the debris of the vic.. so I assume he gets trapped and dies..”
A third person wrote: “Bianca is in the back seat and she tries to stop Reiss by distracting him, and as the Cafe explodes at the same time Reiss crashes his car into the Vic at the same time.”
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and available to stream on BBC iPlayer from 6am
