SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A major crash near 10600 South in South Jordan has caused significant traffic delays through the area.
Details on the crash are extremely limited. According to the Utah Department of Transportation, the crash is blocking the four right lanes in northbound traffic near mile marker 294.

A photo from the scene shows at least three cars involved in the crash, with one lying on top of the other. A third car can be crashed into the back of the scene with traffic cones separating the crash from traffic.

It is currently unclear what caused the crash, how many people were involved, or if there were any injuries as a result. ABC4 has reached out to the Utah Highway Patrol to learn more.
According to the UDOT online traffic monitor the crash has caused traffic to back up for nearly six miles to the 14600 South/Highland Drive exit near the point of the mountain.
