Pakistan cricket team player and a wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan was named the ICC T20I cricketer of the year. he scored 1326 runs in 29 T20 matches at an average of 73.66 with a strike rate of 134.89 and scored 1 century. Rizwan also dismissed 22 players behind the stumps. he says in an ICC statement that;
I want to thank all my team-mates and coaching staff who helped me throughout the year by preparing and training me well enough to contribute to Pakistan’s successes, I would like to dedicate this award to my fans, and team-mates.
