Todd Clark and his wife, Jocelynn Wilde-Clark, have lived through the ups and downs of the housing market in the time of pandemic. In the summer of 2021, as Covid produced frenzied home buying, the couple had to up their bid for a brick town house in Raleigh, N.C., by more than $20,000 over the $240,000 asking price to get the property.
“You had to blindly pick a house and go from there,” Clark recalls.
