CANTON – A.S.P.I.R.E. Today will hold its annual Welcome Back Community Extravaganza from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Third Street NW (between Cleveland Avenue NW and McKinley Avenue NW) to provide school supplies for 1,000 children.
The event also will offer haircuts, hair styling, a talent showcase, mobile pet zoo, flag football tournament, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, music, safety education, games and food.
A.S.P.I.R.E. Today is a nonprofit organization that helps student-athletes with their college recruiting process.Family, friends and area businesses can make a tax-deductible contribution and/or donate supplies such as notebooks, pencils, crayons, or food and drinks. Contributions may be made payable to: A.S.P.I.R.E. Today Inc. Contributions, donations of school supplies and/or food may be mailed or dropped off at SACUL Building: 320 Third St. NW, Canton, Ohio 44702.
