All lanes of I-10 reopen after rocks dropped on road

UPDATE: All lanes on I-10 West near Cotton have reopened as has U.S. 54 South at I-10 West after rocks were scattered on I-10 Friday morning, TxDOT said.

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — All lanes are currently closed on I-10 West before Cotton due to road debris in the area, according to TxDOT.

Videos sent in by KTSM viewers show rocks scattered all over I-10 West.

TxDOT says traffic must exit at Piedras Exit 21 with major back up being reported. Clearing time is two hours.

No further information has been released. This story will be updated once we learn more.
