A local Amazon employee is accused of stealing dozens of packages and advertising the items for sale on social media.
Elghadi Kah, 22, is charged with theft in Hamilton County Municipal Court. He was arraigned Thursday before Judge Jackie Ginocchio, who released Kah on his own recognizance, court records show.
In court filings, Springdale police said Amazon had been investigating Kah for thefts from the company’s warehouse on Strategic Parkway after receiving information about items not being delivered.

Police said Kah stole 44 packages worth more than $3,200. An Amazon loss prevention employee uncovered a video of Kah driving on the company’s property with another person, entering the warehouse and selecting a cart with the missing packages before leaving.
The company tracked Kah from the Springdale warehouse to his home in Northern Kentucky, police said, adding Amazon also found Kah’s Facebook page where the items Kah picked up were listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
Kah’s public defender did not immediately respond to a phone call and email from The Enquirer.
Court records show a grand jury is expected to hear the case by Jan. 15 to decide whether Kah will be indicted in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court, where felonies are tried.
