Asia Cup 2023 is not possible to be held in Pakistan

An emergency meeting of the Asian Cricket Council regarding the hosting of the Asia Cup 2023 will be held in Bahrain tomorrow.
The meeting convened at the request of Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi will decide whether the Asia Cup 2023 will be held in Pakistan or at a neutral venue. Asian Cricket Council President and BCCI Secretary Jay Shah had already said that the Asia Cup 2023 will not be hosted in Pakistan and will be played at a neutral venue.

Jay Shah further said that if the Asia Cup 2023 is held in Pakistan, the Indian team will not participate in the event. The security situation is not good as per the conditions. The Shahbaz’s government is not sincere in controlling extremism.
