The Atlanta Police Department is looking for a man accused of robbing a victim in a park.
Officials say on Saturday Jan. 18, they responded to a pedestrian robbery call at 2:38 p.m. at 102 Ollie Street in northwest Atlanta.

When they arrived, the victim told police they were sitting inside a gazebo inside of the park when an unfamiliar man approached him and tried to snatch his black satchel.

The victim told police when he tried to defend himself, the suspect punched him in the head/face repeatedly where he suffered noticeable injuries, according to police.
The victim was able to ward off the attack by using pepper spray, causing the suspect to flee on foot following the assault. The suspect is described as a Black man with dreadlocks, wearing beige overalls.
