Strictly Come Dancing fans claim to have spotted an ‘insane’ detail when it comes to Pete Wicks as he was left syaing “I’m sorry” following his latest live performance in the ballroom.
The reality TV star and podcast host was back on the dance floor on Saturday night (November 30) alongside his professional dance partner Jowita Przystal after the pair made it through to the BBC One dance contest’s quarter-final.
However, they finished bottom of the rankings after they scored 26 out of a possible 40 points for their waltz to Somewhere from West Side Story, with Pete saying “Iâm so sorry” to Jowita after finishing their latest routine.

As they headed over to the judges, Anton Du Beke said of the dance: “It is a classic waltz. It was a beautiful moment, really. Iâm not going to get over-critical on you, because it was a bit of a disaster down there, I donât want to dwell on this disaster. I donât want to patronise you, because youâve come so far in your dancing development. Itâs extraordinary, youâre unrecognisable.”
Pete was comforted by host Tess Daly as he received his gutting verdicts from the judges, who made sure to tell him he had ‘nothing to be sorry about’.
It was soon time for the scores and Craig Revel Horwood only gave Pete a score of five to which Strictly co-host Claudia Winkleman commented soon after: “They are livid about the five.”
But fans couldn’t help but note that Pete seemingly got off lightly from the judges. @_annaxb said: “Why are Pete and Jowita immune to criticism from the judges? He makes mistakes every single week and if it was anyone else theyâd be getting crucified and not getting overmarked every week itâs a joke at this point #strictly.” @buttonidiots commented: “The fact that Pete gets so much slack in the QUARTER FINALS is actually insane ?? #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing.”
But @Lushy__ argued: “Love Pete, yes he is the weakest dancer but to get to the quarters is amazing and the judges admired that they know he isnât of the quality of the others #strictly.” @abandonedjessi wrote: “That was my favourite dance from Pete and Jowita so far, despite the noticeable mistake it all looked so graceful #Strictly@KizzyBee72 added: “All three votes for Pete Wicks again this week but he looked so sad like he knows this is his last week. Personally I would vote for any non dancer over others who have dance training #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing.”
