BBC Strictly Come Dancing’s Chris McCausland reveals what he’s ‘sick of’ in training with Dianne Buswell

Chris McCausland has hilariously revealed what Dianne Buswell was ‘sick of’ in the training room for their next Strictly Come Dancing performance – and now he’s sick of it too.

The pair are currently preparing for their next live performance in the famous ballroom after they were seen making it through to week three of the BBC One dance contest over the weekend.

Chris, who is Strictly’s first blind contestant, and Dianne received a standing ovation from the live audience for their foxtrot on Saturday night (September 28) to Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy by The Tams, picking up an impressive 29 points.

They were later seen making it through to Movie Week, where they will perform a Jive to the Wayne’s World Theme, during Sunday night’s (September 29) first results show of the series, which saw Olympian Tom Dean and dance partner Nadiya Bychkova become the first to leave.

As they get stuck into their latest week of training, Chris and Dianne have been keeping their online followers updated. And in the latest of their video series, which Dianne has dubbed ‘CHRIS’S DIAnneRIES’, it appears Chris hasn’t been too happy with Dianne cracking the whip.

“Shall we talk about ‘Moan Monday’?” Dianne asked to which Chris replied: “Moany Monday? We’re doing the jive. It’s horrific. And then you’re there like, ‘Come on, let’s go again!’ and I’m like, ‘I can’t even breathe on the floor!’

“I’m not allowed to mention it because it’s moaning and it turned out you ended up moaning at my moaning more than I was moaning. The only reason I’m not moaning today is because I’m sick of hearing you moaning at my moaning!”

He later continued: “We’ve been doing the jive….” Dianne commented: “I sometimes feel like I need to almost stop and ask, ‘Are you alright?” as she spoke about the sound Chris makes when practising their new routine.

Responding to the post, former Strictly contestant Gemma Atkinson laughed: “I love him! And I agree, the jive is horrific.” Dianne’s fellow Strictly pro Vito Coppola, meanwhile, commented: “Love you love LOOOOVE YOU TWO.”

And fans are just loving the partnership. @fionamcc17 said: “I love these videos! They make me properly laugh out loud, a decent Dianne and Chris are just brilliant together.” @eddo_official commented: “I want these to continue long after the final !!! Where can I sign a petition to have a Chris and Dianne podcast haha.”
