BBC Strictly Come Dancing’s Jowita Przystal flooded with support as she says ‘it was a lesson’

Jowita Przystal has been flooded with loving messages of support from fans after she spoke about ‘lessons’ in life. The Strictly Come Dancing star was seen joining in on a new TikTok trend.

As she filmed herself seemingly laying back in bed in silky pink-striped pyjamas, a virtual sign appeared above her head which read: “Biggest mistake in life,” alongside a broken heart icon.

The GIF then sped through different posts before it landed on “to give up” before she closed her eyes and wiped her hand across her face.

Alongside the post, she wrote to her TikTok followers: “It’s not a mistake it’s a lesson. #lesson #donotevergiveup,” and her followers were quick to respond with lovely messages.

One said: “never give up beautiful your amazing at what you do.” Another commented: “Amazing lady, fantastic dancer, beautiful inside and out. What more can I say.” A third posted: “I hope you’re ok. You are amazing, and we all love you.”

Another shared: “You have never given up! You are so amazing!, you have achieved so much already! Just look back at how far you’ve come, you are so inspiring to us all!” A fifth added: “We all have to learn at some point! You are an amazing woman.”

It comes as Jowita is seemingly enjoying a well-deserved break after she was among the familiar faces from the BBC One dance contest who were seen performing in the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2025 which kicked off on January 17 at Birmingham at the Utilita Arena before ending earlier this month at London’s O2 Arena.

Celebrities Sarah Hadland, reality star Tasha Ghouri, JLS singer JB Gill, EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick, The X Factor winner Shayne Ward and Gladiators star Montell Douglas all signed up to continue their dancing journeys after taking part in the 2024 series with a number of the show’s pro dancers joining them.

Jowita was among the additional dancers who hit the road alongside Strictly’s 2024 champ Dianne Buswell, Karen Hauer, Neil Jones, Jake Leigh and Robbie Kmetoni.

But following the end of the string of 35 shows, the group have gone their separate ways with many sharing updates on social media on their adventures away from the famous Strictly ballroom.

Taking to her own social media page, Jowita shared pictures of herself and her beloved cat. She was seen planting a kiss on her feline companion as she told her fans and followers: “In Poland we celebrate Cat Day today. Miss you my little friend.”

Jowita’s fans and followers were quick to respond. @jowitasdowden said: “Rodgerrr, we love him. Always the star of the show right from the beginning.” @angelinaballerina1607 commented: “Two cuties, we love Roger- and you too of course.”

@lexirosetaylor_ wrote: “You’re stunning and he is so cute.” @evettchiu replied: “He’s so cute. And you’re so cute as well.” @mjb_mrb posted: “That’s cute, mine is pure white with blue eyes. Happy Cat Day to you both!” @edward_loveridge added: “Just adorable bless ya.”
