Beaver County store sold $1M-winning Mega Millions Lottery ticket

CENTER TWP. ― A Beaver County gas station and convenience store has sold a winning Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $1 million for the Tuesday, Dec. 24, drawing.

With no jackpot winner for the Tuesday drawing, the jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $1.15 billion, or $516.1 million cash, for the next drawing on Friday.

The $1 million-winning ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 11-14-38-45-46, but not the yellow Mega Ball 3.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back. Online winnings automatically appear in a player’s account after the claim has been processed. Players may visit palottery.com for more information.

More than 237,200 other PA Lottery Mega Millions tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including more than 42,600 tickets purchased with Megaplier. Players should check every ticket, every time.

The jackpot has been rolling since it was last won on Sept. 10, when a single ticket in Texas won a grand prize of $810 million. If the jackpot is won at $1.15 billion, it will be the fifth-largest prize in the history of the game.
