The majority of outages are being reported, according to DownDetector, from Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador, though there also appear to be some reports from other provinces.
People across Canada have also posted about Bell internet issues on X.
Bell’s support page also appeared to be down as of 9:45 a.m. eastern, with a single message being given: “The service is unavailable.”
Global News has reached out to Bell Canada to inquire if it is investigating, how many people have been impacted and if there is a potential restoration time, but did not hear back by publication.
More to come.
