One person was killed and several others injured after a boat crashed in Key West on Thursday, officials say.
At about 4 p.m., eight people were aboard a 39-foot Deep Impact vessel traveling in North Key West Harbor when it struck a sandbar and rolled, sending five passengers flying off the boat, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
The injured were taken to hospitals, where one of them later died.
The FWC provided no further information.
