CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A Camp Hill man was charged with home improvement fraud after refusing to replace a homeowner’s heat pump despite collecting a deposit.
According to the Lower Allen Township Police Department, on November 19, 2024, authorities met with a victim who reported a home improvement fraud.
Police say they were provided a contract dated October 2022 in which the defendant, 51-year-old Jason Smith, agreed to replace the victim’s heat pump.
