The fire started on the lower floor, the flames quickly spread to the terminal. Firefighters quickly put out the fire, but the building was heavily smoky. The management company announced that all departure and arrival flights were canceled until 2 pm on Wednesday, July 19. A few years ago, a major fire broke out in the international terminal of Rome’s Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport.
