Cedar Point ride removed to make way for future development

SANDUSKY, Ohio (WJW) – Another Cedar Point ride is closing for good and will not reopen for the 2025 season.

According to Cedar Point, Professor Delbert’s Frontier Fling is currently being removed from the park.

Cedar Point spoikesperson Tony Clark said the ride is being removed to, “make way for future development.”

Clark also said, “We’ll share more information at the appropriate time.”

Professor Delbert’s Frontier Fling has been located in the Frontier Trail of Cedar Point since 2017.

The ride closer comes after it was announced that the Snake River Falls boat ride closed after 31 years on Labor Day to make room for future expansion.
