What did you miss?
Christine McGuinness was the first woman to win Celebrity Hunted, alongside her partner Blue’s Duncan James.
Celebrity Hunted fans celebrated their big win of the reality series after it aired on Channel 4 on Sunday. All celebrity fugitives taking part in the reality series donated their appearance fees to Stand Up To Cancer.
They were the two celebrities out of 12 who went on the run to escape the capture from the hunters in mainland UK. In the final, the remaining pairs started off racing across central London. The hunters had the upperhand in the race with CCTV, helicopters, drones, dogs and media campaigns to try and capture the celebrities taking part.

Once getting to safety, the 36-year-old mother-of-three — who was diagnosed with autism in 2021 — broke down in tears as she toasted a glass of champagne with her teammate James.
What, how and why?
Referring to the famous magician and his wife, James said: “Don’t know how we did it, honest to god. Call us Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee.”
McGuinness in tears told the camera: “Don’t let anybody tell you you can’t do anything. Always try your best. That’s all you can do. Keep going and don’t give up.”
Social media was awash with Celebrity Hunted viewers delighted to see McGuinness and James take home the winning title. Among the comments, one person wrote: “Who’d have thought, Christine & Duncan well done for kicking the Hunter’s backsides #celebrityhunted.”
Agreeing, another added: “Congratulations Christine & Duncan, you played a blinder. I was hoping Giovanni would beat the Hunters as well. You did brilliant.”

Christine McGuinness says experience changed her life
After her win, McGuinness revealed the experience had changed her as a person. She has faced huge change in her personal life after divorcing presenter Paddy McGuinness last year after they split in 2021 following a decade of marriage and three children (their twins Leo and Penelope, 11, as well as their youngest Felicity, eight).
She told The Mirror: “The best thing from it was realising that actually I can do more than I think I can. If I’m with the right person and someone understanding and caring, I’m a lot more capable than I think. I doubt myself, I preempt a lot, and I probably put myself down more than I should.
“I realised that on the run that sometimes I’m just too hard on myself. But I don’t think I’ve done anything that’s made me feel so proud. I’m a mum of three autistic children and I want them growing up knowing nothing is going to hold them back. I definitely go for things a lot more now.”

Stand Up To Cancer is a charity that is incredibly important to McGuinness as her mum Joanne is being treated for breast cancer.
Celebrity Hunted marked a comeback to UK TV for Giovanni Pernice who left Strictly Come Dancing after his feud with Amanda Abbington.
