BEIJING (Reuters) - A plan by the United States to levy fees on China-linked ships will hurt global supply and industrial chains and undermine the interests of U.S. companies, China's foreign ministry said on Monday.

The move will not revitalise the U.S. shipbuilding industry, a ministry spokesperson told a regular press briefing, adding that China would take steps to uphold its rights and interests.
