Coronation Street spoilers follow from Monday’s episode (November 18), which is available to watch now on streaming service ITVX but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
Coronation Street has officially confirmed that Dee-Dee Bailey is pregnant with Joel Deering’s baby.
The truth was revealed in Monday’s episode as Dee-Dee confided in her friend Sarah Barlow about the situation.
Corrie had originally teased the possibility last week when Dee-Dee was seen with a pregnancy test in the big ‘Who Killed Joel?’ reveal episode.
As the drama continued today, Dee-Dee kept the test unopened as she seemed determined to put off finding out the truth either way.

When Sarah popped round to find Dee-Dee babysitting her niece Glory, there was an awkward moment as Glory pulled out the hidden test.
Dee-Dee reluctantly explained to Sarah that she slept with Joel once when they were still a couple, breaking her vow not to have sex before marriage. She recalled seeking comfort from Joel after an emotional visit to her friend Paul Foreman, who was in the final stages of living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Sarah urged Dee-Dee to take the test and her friend later “confirmed” that the result was negative.
However, struggling to keep her composure over the rest of the day, Dee-Dee soon turned back to Sarah for support and clarified that it was in fact positive.

As a troubled Dee-Dee reflected on the situation, she expressed her fears that she’d always see Joel when raising his child.
Sarah argued differently, pointing out her similar situation with raising Callum Logan’s son Harry and how much she loves him.
Sarah explained: “I look at Harry now and I don’t see Callum at all. I see my beautiful boy.”
Dee-Dee seemed sceptical, replying: “Are you telling me you never look at Harry and, say he’s pushed a kid, or kicked a dog – you don’t look at him and think: ‘There it is. There’s the Callum in him’. You must wonder, Sarah.”
Sarah pointed out that Dee-Dee has the option of an abortion if she doesn’t want to go through with the pregnancy, but will Dee-Dee be willing to consider this?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
