Coronation Street star Luca Toolan has confused fans as he revealed he’s become a ‘young dad’. The actor has recently been back on the cobbles following the release of Mason Radcliffe from the Young Offenders facility.
Viewers of the ITV soap were left devastated as they watched Liam Connor become the victim of the cruel Weatherfield High bully and his group of mates – including Liam’s friend Dylan Wilson. It was during one of his horrific bullying sessions that Mason pulled a knife on the terrified teen.
There were then more heartbreaking scenes when the infuriating bullying campaign later resulted in the discovery that Liam was contemplating taking his own life, leaving his terrified mum, Maria Windass, watching her son’s every move, even going so far as to set up a camera in their home.

But Mason did eventually get his comeuppance for being in possession of a knife, and not for the first time, after both Liam and Dylan bravely spoke in court.
However, Mason recently returned to Weatherfield following his release and was quickly taken under the wing of Stu Carpenter, despite opposition from Sean Tully, Maira and Gary Windass.
His return has also saw him grow closer to Betsy Swain, the daughter of DS Lisa Swain, but the troublemaker soon turned on the bad boy and has landed him back inside after stealing a phone from a customers bag at Speed Daal and planting it on him so he got into trouble.
Meanwhile, away from played the troubled character, Luca appears to have found a very cute way of unwinding at the end of the day as he confirmed he’d become a ‘young dad’ to his new puppy.
Taking to his TikTok account, he revealed the new addition to his family alongside photos that left some of his followers confused. Alongside one snap of himself posing inside a university lecture room, Luca wrote: âFinding out I was going to be a young dad was scary.”
In the second photo, the soap star, who is the son of Hits Radio host Mike Toolan, could be seen outside wearing a sling that had a tiny dog tucked up inside. “But being a dog dad wasnât scary itâs amazing,” he wrote alongside the sweet photo. He then ended with a photo of the pup on its own before asking: “Give me name some suggestions.”
But the post caused plenty of confusion among those watching. One said: “I thought a missed a chapter for a second.” Another commented: “No because before I swiped I was so confused. Thought I missed a load of chapters.” A third laughed: “You know how to get peoples attention with that first caption.”
A fourth posted: “So so adorable but I thought I missed a whole few chapters. Donât scare us like that.” A fifth added: “Jesus Christ got scared for a second.”
