Coronavirus may never go away

The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that the coronavirus may never be eradicated and the world will have to live with it.

Emergency Director WHO Michael Ryan told in a virtual press conference in Geneva that a new virus has entered the human population, so it is difficult to predict how long the virus will be under control.

Michael Ryan warned the world that like HIV, corona may never go away and that the entire world’s population will have to live with it.

“Corona could be another permanent epidemic in our society like HIV is not over and we have to live with it,” he said.

“The easing of lockdown does not guarantee a second wave of epidemics. Many countries would like to come out of sanctions, but we recommend that the warning should be at a high level in any country,” he added. There are currently more than 100 potential vaccines in development – but Dr. Ryan noted there are other illnesses, such as measles, that still haven’t been eliminated despite there being vaccines for them.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stressed it was still possible to control the virus, with effort but it will take time world is near to make vaccine but we need funds from the countries to help the scientists creating vaccine and production development.

It is estimated that more than 4429,000 people have been infected with the coronavirus worldwide so far, while more than 298,000 people have died.

According to the WHO, the Coronavirus may never go away and we have to live with it. What do you think about this? do let me know on Reddit.
