Danish King Frederik X enjoyed a snowmobile outing during his visit to Greenland on Tuesday, April 29, roughly a month after US Vice President JD Vance’s visit to the island.
Footage here filmed by Robert Fonseca Holmene shows Frederik riding a snowmobile near Nuuk, in Greenland.
News reports suggested that the king’s visit was aimed at showing unity with Greenland in response to US President Donald Trump’s stated interest in acquiring the territory.
The king told Danish media that he wasn’t on a mission, and he was happy to be there, according to an AP report. Credit: Robert Fonseca Holmene via Storyful
