EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A person is dead after a morning incident led to an officer-involved shooting at Franklin High School on Thursday, Aug. 22.
A spokesperson with the El Paso Independent School District says its police department was involved in a shooting at Franklin High School while investigating an early morning incident.
The spokesperson says the incident did not involve any students, and there is currently no danger to the community.
The El Paso Police Department is currently assisting the school district.
Red tape was seen closing off the area Thursday morning and officers were present.
No other information has been released. We are currently working to gather more information on this incident.
