Dog walker finds body of Cohasset man near intersection

COHASSET − A 40-year-old Cohasset man was found dead on the side of a road Saturday, authorities said.

Cohasset police said they received a 911 call from a dog walker at about 6:15 a.m. reporting a body near James Lane and Cushing Road, WCVB reported.

First responders determined that the man was dead. Police did not identify him.

Police said there was no initial indication of foul play.

The body was taken to the state medical examiner’s office, which will perform an autopsy, WCVB said.

Cohasset police detectives and state troopers from the Norfolk County district attorney’s office are investigating.

No further details were released.
