Humans may be feeling the post-Super Bowl food coma, but pets are ready to fill up on free treats from Chewy following a Philadelphia Eagles win.
The online pet retailer announced before Sunday’s big game they’d give away 59,000 snacks for our furry and plumed friends — provided the Birds beat the Kansas City Chiefs.

How to get free pet treats at Chewy
Now that the Eagles have pulled off the win for the birds, Chewy has dropped a promo code that can be redeemed for select treats on Chewy.com. The promo code can be found on the brand’s Instagram page, and will be open to everyone for one week, or until supplies last.
Chewy donating food to customers’ shelter of choice
In addition to the free treats, Chewy has also dropped a promo code for customers to use to place a donation order for a rescue of their choice.

Chewy said that in addition to the 59,000 treats, they will also be donating the same in pounds of food to the Pennsylvania SPCA and the Kansas City Pet Project, both organizations that help animals in need.

The Pennsylvania SPCA, which is headquartered in Philadelphia, is a nonprofit whose mission is to “protect animals, prevent cruelty and to improve the health and quality” of the life of pets, according to their website.
The Kansas City Pet Project, a nonprofit organization, cares for more than 15,000 animals a year, according to its website. It has 14 locations across Missouri and Kansas to adopt pets.
