Ellie Leach has seemingly responded after fans said they were ‘disappointed’ following her latest red carpet appearance. The former Coronation Street star looked stunning as she attended the Pride of Britain Awards this week.
Ellie, 23, was among the famous faces heading out in force to celebrate the nation’s unsung heroes at the emotional ceremony, which took place on Monday night (October 21) at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
The actress, who is famed for having played Faye Windass for 13 years in ITV’s Corrie, looked fabulous as she hit the red carpet in a striking blue gown which boasted crossbody detailing on the front and oversized draped sleeves. She accessorised with a shiny silver clutch while her locks had been pulled back into a classy updo.

Taking to Instagram, Ellie shared photos from her latest public appearance and said: “Pride of Britain Awards 2024. An honour to be in a room full of extraordinary people doing extraordinary things.”
And the compliments quickly came flooding in over her look on the special night. Strictly Come Dancing stars Johannes Radebe and Tasha Ghouri and her Corrie star cousin Brooke Vincent all responded with strings of love heart eyes emojis. Former Corrie co-star Sue Devaney said: “You look so beautiful Ellie! Loving your dress.”
@sylyannsimpson2015 replied: “You look absolutely stunning in that beautiful dress.” @michelle.brack1 wrote: “Absolutely beautiful – love the dress.” @liz.green24 posted: “You look amazing that colour really suits you. One of the most beautiful gowns on a beautiful lady.” @srna1974 added: “WOW, you are insanely beautiful inside and out.”
But some fans knew Ellie’s friend and former Strictly dance partner Vito Coppola was in attendance and were sad not to see them both together.

@barbarasharpe646 wrote: “I’m disappointed there is no pictures of you and Vito together, you look stunning Ellie and so happy.” @spiritbeautifull replied: “Beautiful, I was hoping for a photo of you and Vito too.” @myeloma_mumzy added: “You look beautiful and I was praying there was going to be a picture with you and Vito.”
Then, on Wednesday (October 22), Ellie took to her Instagram Story with a picture of herself and Vito taken during a joint photoshoot as they competed in the BBC One dance contest last year before following up with a picture of them at the Pride of Britain’s 2023 ceremony.
Alongside the post, in which Ellie could be seen smiling at Vito as he looked towards the camera while lounging on a sofa in their glamorous outfits, Ellie simply wrote: “Last year,” with a red heart emoji.
