Emmerdale ‘exit’ as fans ‘work out’ identity of Will’s blackmailer in Kim Tate kidnap twist

Emmerdale ‘exit’ as fans ‘work out’ identity of Will’s blackmailer in Kim Tate kidnap twist

Emmerdale enthusiasts believe they’ve figured out who is truly blackmailing Will Taylor (portrayed by Dean Andrews), and it’s not his spouse, Kim Tate (Claire King). Will has been the target of a mystery blackmailer since he had an affair with his ex, Rose (Christine Tremarco), as part of a larger scheme to bring down Kim.

Rose initially joined forces with Ruby Milligan (Beth Cordingly) to target the owner of Home Farm, but the plot took an unexpected twist when Rose vanished and Will began receiving demands for money.

The identity of Will’s blackmailer remains uncertain. While some viewers speculate it could be either his wife Kim or Ruby’s husband Caleb Milligan (Will Ash), others suggest an unlikely suspect – his son-in-law Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle).

On a Facebook fan page dedicated to Emmerdale, one devoted viewer proposed that it could be Jimmy King (Nick Miles). They posted: “Jimmy is the one blackmailing Will without fail.”

Despite Jimmy being the only one aware of the threatening texts and calls, other fans dispute this theory, reports the Express.

“Jimmy isn’t that bright,” one viewer responded, while another concurred: “I’ll be shocked if it’s Jimmy, he doesn’t seem intelligent or ballsy enough.”

“No I think it’s Nicola, they need the money and she is the type to do it,” suggested a third.

However, one name that kept appearing was Billy’s. “It’s Billy,” one fan proposed, while another agreed: “Apparently Dawn finds him with a load of money next week.”

“I said that from the start,” one fan remarked, as another mused: “I think it’s either Billy or Dawn.”

One observer shared their thoughts: “Reading all these comments, I am leaning towards Billy. Would set their little family up nicely. Although I never thought he’d be the type, but he seems very bitter now? ” (sic).

Yet, unexpected twists loom for Will in future episodes when he faces a harrowing situation as his wife is kidnapped – the pressing question remains, who could be orchestrating this?

As the narrative unfolds, upcoming scenes show Will riddled with remorse when the blackmailer demands a ransom of £50k. Under pressure, Will ends up selling his shares in the haulage business to Caleb to raise the funds.

However, upon returning to Home Farm, Will is confronted with Kim’s absence and grows increasingly alarmed when the blackmailer calls to claim they have abducted her.

Adhering to the enigmatic instructions from the blackmailer, Will finds himself in a wooded area, driven by the sole purpose of saving his wife. His confusion escalates when he stumbles upon a mannequin clad in Kim’s attire, luring him deeper into the woods.

With Kim’s fate hanging in the balance, speculation abounds; has she truly been taken, or is it possible that Kim and Billy are orchestrating the drama together?

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
