Tom King is about to return to Emmerdale and his estranged wife Belle Dingle could be in danger.
Villainous Tom (played by James Chase) has been lying low after Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) opened up to Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) about the abuse she has been suffering at the hands of her husband for months on end.
Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) was livid when he discovered the truth about his sister Belle’s abuse but stopped himself from reacting violently towards Tom, although the mechanic made it clear to the vet that he knows all about his antics.
Tom has since made himself scarce to keep out of the way of the Dingles and Belle hasn’t seen or heard from him. But as viewers of the ITV soap will know, Tom pledged to stay in Belle’s life for good so she’s not naïve in knowing he will return.

In the meantime, Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) has struck up a romance with Tom – ignoring all warnings that he is dangerous, and has met up with him in secret.
In forthcoming scenes, Belle gets a call from her landlady, Kim Tate (Claire King), who tells her that Belle’s house has been left in a mess.
Belle has been staying at Wishing Well with Sam (James Hooton) and Lydia (Karen Blick) recently because even though Tom has officially left Dale Head he kept turning up and Belle knew she wasn’t safe.
Belle and Lydia go back to Dale Head to find out why Kim was concerned, and discover the place in a mess.
Among the chaos, Belle spots a screw on the floor – and to her absolute horror realises that it’s a tiny camera. The revelation proves that Tom was secretly watching her while she thought she was alone in the house.
Feeling violated, Belle tells Lydia who encourages her to go to the police with all the evidence.
The two women talk over the horrifying situation and Lydia hopes she said enough to convince Belle to seek help at the police station.
Meanwhile, Amelia appears to have changed her opinion of her new boyfriend Tom and there is hope when she arranges to meet privately with Belle to talk about him.
But is Amelia to be trusted in this regard or is she too now under Tom’s influence?
Alone at the Dingle’s, Belle waits for Amelia but is horror-struck when Tom lets himself in, blocks her exit and proceeds to lock the doors.
Will anyone come to Belle’s aid before it’s too late?
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX
