Emmys 2024: Eugene and Dan Levy host TV’s biggest night as ‘Shōgun,’ ‘The Bear’ and ‘Baby Reindeer’ are frontrunners

Following its Feb. 27 premiere, Shōgun, which is based on James Clavell’s 1975 novel of the same name, broke records across Hulu and Disney+. Domestically, the Justin Marks- and Rachel Kondo-created adaptation is the No. 1 FX premiere on Hulu. Globally, the historical drama is the No. 1 scripted general entertainment series premiere.

The third season of The Bear debuted on June 27. It premiered to the tune of 5.4 million viewers globally in its first four days of streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in the U.S. and Disney+ in select international markets.
