Enthusiastic celebration of Takbeer Day at Islamia College Peshawar

Peshawar: (Report by Fatima Jafri) According to global times news agency Europe, Islamia College Peshawar celebrated “Takbeer Day” with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by the presence of Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Yousafzai, Vice Chancellor of Islamia College, as the guest of honor. He remarked on the nationwide celebrations of “Yum-e-Takbeer,” emphasizing the unity and pride of the Pakistani people on this significant day. The day commenced with the recitation of the Quran in mosques, followed by prayers for the safety and prosperity of Pakistan. Special prayers were organized in various hostels of Islamia College to elevate Pakistan’s status and well-being. Vice Chancellor Dr. Ali Muhammad Yousafzai addressed the gathering, stating, “May 28 is a very important day in the history of Pakistan. Today, Pakistan is stronger and more stable than in 1998. The entire nation is proud. ‘We are the 28th of May.’ This day signifies an ideology, a thought, and the eternal truth of love for our country. We are ready to sacrifice all our sorrows and interests for Pakistan, but we will never let our motherland fall. This country is our mother, our home, and the source of our honor and identity. He concluded with a prayer, “We pray to Allah Almighty that He will always keep Pakistan on the map of the world, Ameen. The event was attended by Deputy Registrar Shabbir Ahmed Ali, Ali Hoti, Firdous Afridi, Muhammad Nawaz, and numerous players from Saleem of Special Olympics, reflecting the broad support and patriotic fervor present on this memorable day.
